THE NEW OIL MILL IS PURCHASED AND THE CELLAR IS STRUCTURED
The company, responding to market needs, uses technologies that allow the production of wine and olive products with increasingly higher quality standards. The cellar is structured in the best possible way and the new two-phase continuous extraction mill with heteax is purchased to regulate the temperature of the olive paste before it enters the malaxers, enhancing its aromas and preserving its organoleptic properties.

The new generation Giuseppe Borzì and Nino Serafica create the brand for the marketing of company products, Maria Ausilia Borzì introduces teaching in the company and the new cold extraction mill is purchased.
ANDREA SERAFICA REPLANTS NEW VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES
Andrea Serafica replants new vineyards and olive groves, to make them more suitable for mechanized operations and strengthens the olive oil mill.
THE OLIVE OIL MILL IS BUILT
In Nicolosi, Nino Serafica built the oil mill that initially operated by grinding olives on behalf of third parties, but in the following years began to deal directly with the cultivation and production of Sicilian olives. Nino Serafica, from the beginning of his activity, worked hard for the growth of the olive sector of the territory, which according to his conception had to have as a common denominator the search for the best quality standards of production. The “press” oil mill, first cold pressing, replaces the oil processing with the stone mill.
ANDREA SERAFICA RETURNS FROM AMERICA AND DEVOTES HIMSELF TO CULTIVATING VINEYARDS
After returning from Massachusetts where he worked in the tanneries, a few years passed before he founded the Nicolosi section of the “Direct Cultivators” and, subsequently, thanks to the commitment of his son Nino and his wife Rita, the family business grew by also purchasing the first mechanized millstone.
