The grapes of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, harvested at 900 m.a.s.l., produce an Etna red that ages 12 months in large French oak barrels. The vines are situated on the south side of the volcano, restless creator of the minerality that distinguishes the typical terroir and the wines of our family.
VARIETY: 80 % Nerello Mascalese e 20% Nerello Cappuccio
Colour: Red Rubin.
Perfume: Elegant and characteristic. mell of violet, strawberries as well as Mediterranean herbs and spices.
Taste: Meaty and mineral taste with a pleasant sapidity.
FOOD PAIRING: Ideal with mountain cooking. Try with pappardelle and mushrooms.
