MIRANTUR ROSSO

Fruit of vines sprung by Sicily’ sun that look at the sea and stun, this wine is exclusively obtained from autochthonous grapes of Nerello Cappuccio coming from the vineyard of our family, located at 900 m.a.s.l. and whose roots sink into soils of volcanic origin. Among the very few pure expressions of this variety that has been bred on the volcano for several centuries.
VARIETY: Nerello Cappuccio
Colour: Rubin Red.
BOUQUET: Cherry, raspberry but also strawberries and other red fruits
Taste: Juicy and joyful on the palate Dry and fresh tannins balanced by a pleasant acidity.
FOOD PAIRING:: Excellent with an aperitif, but ideal for pairing with red meats, pies and ripened cheeses. To drink even in slightly cold summer

Origin of the name: Constantly marvel at an imposing and powerful volcano that slowly turns its gaze towards the endless sea, complementary and adjoining view of an intensely emotional Sicilian territory. That’s the Sicily we wish to recount in our Mirantur.
